Swatch Pocket

This was a two-colour swatch for the mitten-to-be, done in Trekking and Jawoll (dk red). I did a tubular cast on, about 2 cm k1p1 ribbing, and then tried out a stranded spiralling stripe pattern. In the end I decided to knit plain mitts in the Trekking. These will be liner mitts. I might use the stripe pattern on the coordinating overmitts. The swatch measures 5 cm x 8 cm and might be just the right size to keep earbuds in. It is not quite long enough for an iPod Nano.
